The new building of the cultural centre KIFF (Kultur in der Futterfabrik) in Aarau adopts and ennobles the characteristics of the industrial vocabulary of the current building. A large covered space declares the autonomy of the building and at the same time brings together in a single gesture a heterogeneous spatial program. 
The various activities that take place inside constantly change the expression of the building: the luminous banner on the frieze of the suspended roof informs the public about the next concerts, while the programs that take place on the upper floors are manifested to the outside through the movement of the folding grids on the facade, making the building active or abstract depending on the activities in progress.
